Well, it's Wednesday and I still don't have a job. But, I have a few prospects in the mix, so hopefully by the end of this week I will be a year older and have a job! Not much going on today, more job hunting of course. Today's song is by the lovely Nancy Sinatra called "Sugar Town." It makes me want to be careless and forget all my troubles, and wear a pair of mean go-go boots while doing that. Far out.

How Brittany Got Her Groove Back
With it being my one week anniversary of spraining my ankle, while dancing Zumba at the gym, of course I decided to celebrate having my mobility back by, yes, dancing. Last night, my roommate and I along with my brother and his friends went out and really cut the mustard, so to speak. Although it was a blast getting footloose and all, my foot this morning has gone on strike again and now I am stuck keeping it on the low all over again. So, today's song is by the amazing Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions called "On The Low." I need to keep things mellow for a while and this song is helping me stay in that mode.

Easy as 1, 2, Breathe
It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, work, stress etc. Sometimes I forget to just stop for a minute and breathe. Waking up this morning feeling quite peaceful, I enjoyed a soy yogurt and had a great conversation with my lovely roommate. Now I am ready to take on the day like a tiger waiting to attack it's pray...just need to remember to breathe. Today's song is going to remind me to do just that; a lovely little diddy from Telepopmusik called, you guessed it, "Breathe." Hope it can inspire you as well!

Another Day, Another Dollar-less
Working only 15 hours this past month, has caused my wallet to be, well let's face it, more on the half empty side of things. Good news is, today I got called in for an interview somewhere! So in honor of my current situation, todays song is of course: "Money" by the Flying Lizards. I love this song and I especially love this video. Enjoy!
For Starters
...Well, since I am not currently working I thought I would do something productive with my time...start a blog of course. As a music lover, this blog is going to be dedicated to just that. Each day I am going to post a song of the day, based on my mood and write about it. Various genres, new and old, each song is going to be an expression of how I am feeling or just a simple appreciation for a song.
